DevOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for a regular/senior DevOps Engineer to join an international development team that takes care of Mechanical Platform applications. We are looking for experienced candidate who will support us with automation of development and release processes. The candidate should pose strong willingness to build strong relationship between business and engineering. With broad portfolio of Azure based servers and SQL databases the team expects DevOps to ensure their updates and backups are setup accordingly. Our technology stack relies mainly on Desktop applications development with .NET and C++ as a core.  

Responsibilities: 

• Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology. 
• Ensure best in class product quality by performing configuration tasks and root cause analysis. 
• Automate deployment and delivery processes,  
• Build, develop and maintain the Continuous Delivery toolchain, to achieve reliable and stable releases. 
• Develop and document the continuous deployment build and release process. 
• Interact with various global product teams to meet their specific needs. 
• Troubleshoot build and release issues, administrate servers daily. 
• Help implement process and tools improvements. 

Background: 

• BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar area, 
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps/Infrastructure/SQL management,  
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, 
• Experience with source control management and tools (GIT),  
• Experience with Azure services and configuration, 
• Knowledge of CI/CD configuration with Azure DevOps, 
• Proficiency with Windows operating system,  
• Good technical English, 
• Automation of SQL deployments and maintenance tasks will be a plus,  
• Strong understanding of test processes and test strategies including test automation, 
• Knowledge of Bicep, ARM template & Terraform,  
• Professional experience with PowerShell scripting language
