Summary of the position:

Responsible for leading a team of production employees in the manufacturing of our product.  This position is for an outgoing and aggressive individual who can drive operational safety, quality and productivity results in a production environment.  Daily communication within all levels of the organization is a must. Must be able to flex between 1st and 2nd shifts.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily production targets and exceptions with the production employees.
  • Assign team members and adjust work flow based on size of work team and customer priorities.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for continuous improvement activities.
  • Engage team members and develop best practices within areas of responsibility.
  • Identify gaps in safety, quality and production processes and develop actions to close gaps.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree in Operations Management or Equivalent Experience
  • 2-5+ years of supervisory/lead experience.

Professional experience:

  • Demonstrate sound leadership skills with a sense of urgency to obtain results.
  • The ability to motivate, coach, and lead both hourly and professional associates.
  • Have a critical eye for improvement in all areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on various projects at the same time.
  • Successful candidate will have Operations experience in manufacturing.
