We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Control Engineer to join our team.

Your responsibilities:
Plan and execute hardware and software development for high-power electronic converters, including concept creation, specification, and documentation preparation.
Coordinate technical aspects among customers, sub-suppliers, and the internal factory team, ensuring seamless hardware interfaces and conducting electrical component evaluations.
Develop and optimize real-time control software for various converter applications, conducting thorough verification on real-time simulators and during factory testing.
Ensure on-time delivery of projects, focusing on quality and cost efficiency, and conduct commissioning activities and customer training on-site.
Provide continuous technical support during office hours and fulfill on-call duty (24x7) for customer assistance with converter issues.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including control, system, and mechanical engineering, as well as project managers, to achieve project goals.
Utilize expertise in communication protocols (OPC, IEC60870-5-104, DNP3) and programming skills (Python) for test automation and system optimization.
Your background:
Hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (university/technical college, Bachelor or Master degree).
Demonstrate practical working experience in process control and software design, including expertise in OLC, CLC, Protection, and HMI systems.
Possess in-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as OPC, IEC60870-5-104, DNP3, etc., indicating a strong technical foundation.
Proficiency in Python programming for test automation is a significant advantage, demonstrating adaptability and technical versatility.
Exhibit comprehensive understanding and expertise in control engineering and power electronics, showcasing a robust technical background.
Display fluency in both German and English, with additional languages considered an advantage, enhancing effective communication in multicultural settings.
Express enthusiasm for global travel and commissioning activities, reflecting a proactive approach to on-site project involvement, constituting up to 15% of the working time.
Demonstrate strong responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills, emphasizing collaborative abilities in a diverse and dynamic team environment.
