Engineering manager

Description

Your responsibilities:

• Ensures that the production process aligns with the project targets, approves the design, both for internal or external developed process, and performs the final test in accordance with the projects data;
• Ensures the efficiency of all external production processes;
• Develops common processes, tools and practices aimed at technical excellence;
• Responsible for new product implementation (NPI), transfer of products (ToP) and design-to-value projects (DTV);
• Participate in cross-functional teams during projects supporting fulfillment strategy, including implementation of technology and material handling solutions within fulfillment operations;
• Able to manage through ambiguity and translate into solutions/results
• Able to understand and work with technical documentation including mechanical, electrical and software to assess designs and issues as required
• Accountable for budget, staffing, and residential controls business operational results.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, industrial management;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing environment;
• Lean 6 Sigma knowledge and skills, green belt will be considered as an advantage;
• Very good written & spoken English;
• Good computer literacy (MS Office);
• Excellent coordination skills;
• Teamworking skills;
• Leadership and project management skills;
• Proactive and result oriented.
