As an IT Governance Lead, you are responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving IT governance capabilities in Hitachi Energy IT.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborating with and providing support to key Hitachi Energy IT stakeholders in their effort to design, implement, improve and sustain effective and efficient IT service delivery to business by means of IT Governance, Compliance, Performance Measurement, IT Operating Model and IT Process Management capabilities leveraging recognized industry best practices, leading frameworks, standards and regulations

  • The key Hitachi Energy IT stakeholders include OHIT, Head of IT, IT Governance bodies, IT Department Heads and their team members, internal and external auditors, as well trade & export compliance and data governance teams as deemed necessary

  • Ensuring timely revisions of HE IT Governance Regulation (the top-level IT Governance Policy document)

  • Supporting key IT stakeholders in adoption of the COBIT framework

  • Coordinating internal and external audits of Hitachi Energy IT Function

  • Promoting IT Governance across HE IT and beyond IT area through internal communication, education, collaboration and continuous process improvement

  • Facilitating adoption and continuous utilization of Process Management Framework and Document Repository by IT

  • Perform periodic assessments of  target vs. actual maturity level of IT processes

  • Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed

  • Motivating direct reports to continuously develop their professional expertise and provides guidance and support on potential career paths

Your background

  • 7+ years of professional  experience developing and executing organizational change management strategies ​ - preferably in IT Industry

  • Full life cycle experience, responsible for the development of a complete set of IT processes for an enterprise​

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities, as well as solid business acumen

  • Proven working experience in project management and know-how in project management methodologies

  • Knowledge of ITIL​ and COBIT

  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred​​​

  • Leadership experience is a plus
