Define and lead the company’s intellectual property strategy, including assessing the commercial and strategic value of the Company’s IP portfolio (patent, trademarks etc.), identifying gaps and areas of opportunity (both offensive and defensive), preparing for and managing IP litigation

Key Activities

Intellectual Property Strategy

  • Define IP strategy in close collaboration with Engineering
  • Assess the commercial and strategic value of the Company’s IP 
  • portfolio (patent, trademarks etc.)
  • Promotion and protection of the company’s technology and IP 
  • portfolio

Manage IP portfolio

  • Lead preparation of patent application
  • Analyze and identify gaps in current IP portfolio
  • Monitor and survey competitors IP strategy 

IP Litigations

  • Defend and prosecute patent infringement actions 
  • Negotiate IP agreements

Profile

Qualification & Experience 

  • Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent 
  • Degree in intellectual property law
  • At least 10 years working experience in intellectual property area
