Description:

In this role, you will need strong AWS deployment techniques in order to build, configure and deploy VNF services in the AWS Cloud. Your role will be to monitor and manage the AWS resources using both native and third-party tools. Working experience with AWS is a must as you will be required to manage and monitor security groups among various resource groups. Proficiency in Linux and networking will be required to perform your role. Tool experience is a must with familiarity using Jenkins, Chef, Ansible Kubernetes, Nagio Tomcat and Linux will be required. Scripting will be essential in this position and the use and mastery of Python will be essential.

Requirements:
• Build, Configure and Deploy using one or more continuous deployment tools
• Monitor and Manage AWS resources using AWS native tools, 3rd party tools
• Working experience with AWS networking and network management
• Experience working, managing and monitoring security groups among all resource groups
• Experience with cloud formation or similar tools
• Proficient in Linux and networking
• Knowledge of 3 rd party Firewall and SDWAN deployment and configuration in AWS
• Must have utilized or experience in tools such as:
- Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Kubernetes, Nagios, Tomcat and Linux
- Python Strong Scripting experience
- Ability to work with APIs
- Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios
• Strong Knowledge of Telcom principles

Job Responsibilities:
• Complete understanding of the AWS underlay architecture (VPC, subnets, Routing, Bring your own IP, DNS, DX and DXGW)
• Basic understanding of MPLS
• Understanding of the x-eni features
• Understanding of the transit gateway and transit gateway connect
• Understanding for routing protocols mainly BGP
• Understanding of overlay tunnels mainly GRE
• Should be able to create and present slides or documentation
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills, to be able to facilitate discussions in a customer organization, as well as the technical background that enables you to easily interact with and give guidance to other team members working in an operational role.
