General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for Supplier Quality Manager for it's Mt Pleasant, PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the entire supplier quality management for the Hub North America
  • Responsible to conduct supplier audits and supplier qualifications in SAP Ariba
  • Responsible for PPAP evolution of new parts and approve the PPAP.
  • Accountable to create strategies for supplier improvement Projects.
  • Make supplier visits and assess the operations and drive improvements.
  • Review PPAP documentation and able to make decisions on approval of parts.
  • Coordinate with local and global BU quality organization and implement the quality strategies in North America Hub
  • Address the quality escalations from Operating units and resolve the issues using RCCM methodology.
  • Work with global team and implement the supplier sustainability across the NAM Hub
  • Work with Cross functional teams with engineering, R & D, sourcing, and customer quality to understand and resolve quality issues.
  • Responsible for reporting the quality metrics in line with the BU requirements.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years of experience. Lean sigma Greenbelt and about is a plus.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and intercultural communication skills with the demonstrated ability to drive change through team, facilitating and influencing skills
