WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Hybrid (+50% Onsite)
WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Onsite - 75% / Remote - 25%
WORK LOCATION: Dallas, TX
EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $55,275 - $76,003
This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interface with customers, engineers, suppliers as well as Hitachi Japan to perform and maintain good supply chain on warranty/repair issues and material planning that support HTA budget goals and requirement by customers.
• Work closely with all departments to perform warranty/repair related activities and material planning in a timely manner.
• Create a monthly report and all other relevant data to update warranty/repair activities to upper management.
• Handle all warranty/repair related transactions in SAP confirming all transactions meet the requirement and resolve any issues with management.
• Create and maintain procedures for the repair/warranty and returns department.
• Travel (domestic and international) as needed.
• Handle all duties with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
• Special, short- or long-term projects as requested.
• Must be able to support other international time zones by working potentially non-core hours as needed
EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• A 4-Year Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Distribution or relevant major and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant material planning and warranty/repair handling experience.
• APICS or ISM certification a plus.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Material Planning, Warranty/repair handling, Purchasing, Customer Service, or Inventory Planning environment or equivalent education background can substitute for experience.
• Knowledge about semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Travel (domestic and international) as needed.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
• Have basic knowledge and experience in SAP.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
