R&D Engineer Internship

Description

We are seeking an engineer to join our R&D team for an internship.
The successful candidate will be engaged in the development of new optimization tools based on ML/AI, including search and data entry.
The preferable candidate will have a background exam in numeric calculation, statistic, or electrical / mechanical engineering.

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct research and collect data to ensure the proper function of ML/AI optimization algorithm;
• Develop and implement testing procedures for the electrical design system;
• Develop and maintain technical documentation;
• Develop and maintain international quality procedures applied to R&D process (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, …);
• Performing measurements and processing results on transformer related components;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or statistics related field, or university students who are looking for a bachelor thesis internship on these fields of application;
• Understanding of electrical machines and numeric calculation exams are a plus;
• Proficient Python programming skills is considered a plus;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
