IT Application Manager

General information about the role:

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to join our IT team in Central Europe. As an Application Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the application lifecycle and strategy for different applications, ensuring service design alignment with IT standards, and managing supplier relationships. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality service operation, change management, configuration management, and knowledge management for the applications in scope. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and vendors, to deliver efficient and reliable IT application services according to business needs and ITIL best practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for build and run of applications aligned to the requirements of business and their processes.
• Manage a set of applications through their whole lifecycle and with all aspects required to run the application to ensure they are fit for purpose, run securely and compliant.
• Collaborate with business and function departments to identify requirements and solution possibilities within the application. 
• Manage internal and external software and service providers delivering service components, e.g., infrastructure, application maintenance, support, etc. 
• Ensure proper licensing and compliance of the application regarding internal and external directives, guidelines and laws.
• Collaborate with IT security, data privacy, enterprise architecture and other teams and departments to align with corporate IT strategy.
• Manage or coordinate small to medium-sized projects.

Your background:

• Bachelor‘s degree in Information Technology or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in management of applications.
• Experience in IT project management and IT services as a plus.
• Ability to familiarize with new environments very quickly and proactively work on required activities.
• Good technical skills and understanding of application technologies.
• Collaborative and solution driven mindset in a fast-changing environment.
• Good knowledge in IT service management and its pragmatic application.
• Very good Polish and English language skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft technologies (e.g., PowerPlatform, .NET, etc.) is a plus.
