Mission Statement:

We are convinced that HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology, solutions for energy transfer with direct current at high voltages, is a long-term sustainable solution. The technology is used for energy transmission over long distances and to connect electricity networks with minimal losses. In addition to energy transfer, HVDC technology also alleviates electricity quality problems and can contribute to the stabilization of connected power grids. For offshore wind power or long-distance underwater transmissions, direct current is the only realistic energy transmission alternative.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for all delivery phases as a Control System Engineer, including design, maintenance, testing, integration, verification, and deployment of the HVDC control & protection application functions required for the safe and dependable operation of plants and transmission links.
  • The position also includes documentation and customer trainings and Opportunity to travel internationally for long and short assignments.

Your background:

  • Engineering and a bachelor's degree or above within the relevant technical area are desired.
  • As a part of a global business Good English with written and spoken communication skills are required and Swedish or other Scandinavian languages is meritorious
  • Experience in the power system industry, such as power system automation, simulation, and modelling techniques (real-time or offline), is also considered advantageous for the position.
  • It is advantageous to have knowledge of or a keen interest in digital technology, signal processing, and control system design.
  • Experience with digital technology, signal processing, and control system design is preferred, as is a keen interest in these fields. You have a keen interest in or good programming and industrial application development skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and proposal preparation abilities are required.
