Material Planner

Description

We are looking for candidates for the position of the Material Planner for the Purchasing Campus Organization in Lodz. Main task on this position is raw material inventory management by implementing adequate stock replenishment strategy. Tracking production volumes and purchasing trends to keep the optimal stock level in each factory within the Campus.

Task:

• Defining and revising if needed stock replenishment strategies. ABC/XYZ analysis, stock structure analysis performing. Safety stocks and reorder points setting. Analyzing inventory trends and reports findings.
• Material master data management. Establishing processes and procedures to ensure data quality in SAP and working cross-functionally to resolve master data issues.
• Analyzing slow moving, excess and obsolete inventory. Mainly focusing on inventory turn ratio.
• Challenging prices, incoterms, lot size, lead time and provide input to Category Buyers.
• Taking active part in raw material forecasting process based on S&OP assumptions. Informing about possible challenges with raw material availability during S&OP meetings.
• Directing and implementing continuous improvement of master data management standards, instructions, processes and practices.
• Internal trainer for SAP MM module for Purchasing Campus Organization.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering or equivalent combination of experience and/or education is required.
• Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain/Purchasing with experience in a demanding and changing supply chain preferably in high volume and complex environment.
• SAP - MM-PUR knowledge.
• Strong analytical ability (in order to analyze facts and figures).
• Proficiency in excel, analyzing data and reports preparation is required.
• Determination - Perseverance to accomplish given goals in the time allotted regardless of obstacles.
• Creative Problem Solving - A passion to address complex needs, tasks or issues and develop creative solutions.
• Resilience and ability to manage stress.
• Good knowledge of English language.
