Project Engineer

Description

You as a Project Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, execution, customer satisfaction and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projects.
• Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
• Performing control on budgets, schedules, plans and reporting on the project's status. Preparing specifications, specify ratings, check supplier’s technical offers and interface.
• Reviewing the project tender documents.
• Attending technical meetings with customers and suppliers for drawing approvals.
• Supporting site installation team on technical issues. Supporting in the steel engineering.
• Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with technical background.
• 0 - 2 years of experience in project execution.
• Proficient with MS Office, exposure to schedule software, preferably MS Project.
• Proven skills in reading and interpreting engineered plans and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with other business functions.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Arabic is a plus.
