The below experience is what the ideal Test Validation Engineer will have experience of:

• Embedded, C++, Thermal Systems
• Automotive - Test Validation Engineer with HIL Manual Testing experience in Thermal Systems required
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within electrical engineering or other similar area
• Previous experience with verification and calibration of vehicle thermal or climate systems
• Previous experience working with tools like INCA and DTECS.
• MIL: Previous experience with Matlab/Simulink with a focus on Thermal System understandings meritorious
• Manual HIL testing / Embedded testing
• Test Automation Development basics

Job Responsibilities:

The System control team is a part of our Propulsion department, which is a team with a mission to deliver results that exceed the customers' expectations. The team consists of software engineers, calibration engineers, and system designers.
The area of responsibility spans software development, control system design, and propulsion control and calibration.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Calibrating thermal management control functions
• Testing and validating the thermal capability toward requirements in vehicle
• Testing and fault injection of diagnostic functions for thermal system
• Participate in the system work of energy management/thermal system
• Participate in the development of thermal management functionality
• Improve the efficiency of energy usage
  
  A sound Thermal System understanding. I.e. the ability to interpret requirements and trace them to the SW development phase
  Control model development and testing in Simulink
  Code generation experience (i.e ability to use compilers, Embedded Coder build toolchain etc) to integrate models into the target H

This role is INSIDE IR35 with one of our major Automotive clients.

We are looking for Test Validation Engineers with Manual Testing experience in Thermal Systems.

Please note that this role is based remotely from home, but you will need to be based in the UK
