Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Description

You as a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be receiving or inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record. Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method.

Your responsibilities

• Managing daily material delivery to production line. Ensuring that goods and services are received, stored, safeguarded, and distributed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Making sure material availability in warehouse and communicate with third party warehouse team on daily basis.
• Keeping daily report for receiving goods. Communicating with SCM for received goods related issues.
• Taking care of created NCRs.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins in predetermined locations.
• Rejecting damaged items and shortages and contacting SCM and QC.
• Rejecting and taking appropriate action for any inconsistency between purchase orders and shipments received.
• Assisting in opening containers and unpacking and examining incoming shipments.
• Recommending the replenishment of stocks based on established minimum quantities and, when necessary, the modification of storeroom procedures and regulations.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Knowledge of warehouse supplies receiving and storage.
• Problem solving and good communication skills.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
