Quality Manager

Description

Quality Manager positions offered by Hitachi Energy USA Inc. (Crystal Springs, MS). Actively manage customer complaint process (CCRP) and drive the root-cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence and ensure closure within the required resolution time. Implement and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, global and local HAPG procedures, other national or international standards, relevant regulatory and customer requirements. Administer quality policies/procedures and provide Quality Assurance supervision for the entire value stream. Ensure the product/process documentations is auditable, traceable, concisely organized, and complete. Work closely with purchasing and strategic sourcing to select/maintain/drop suppliers listed based on their performance. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.  Responsible for calibration process and maintain solid laboratory practices, creating procedures and test methods that comply with standards.

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience performing manufacturing or engineering of distribution transformers using winding on core technology. Requires 1 year of experience leading a team responsible for managing quality improvement programs and quality or operations excellence (OpEx) programs. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
