Mission statement:

Responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory incl. sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Support internal customer service inquiries. Sets inventory parameters, inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will involve in segment the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy and define inventory policies according to this segmentation.

  • You will calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies.

  • You will collaborate with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility.

  • You will work with Operations Buyers and GBS to align planning of material with call offs and ensures that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders.

  • You will manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis and support cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting.  You will conduct financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducts root case analysis when necessary.

  • You will analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory and take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, preferably in Economics.

  • 2 years related experience and/or training. 

  • Solid understanding of database structures and data modeling.

  • Knowledge and experience on inventory calculation & analyzing, plan production and sale forecast, strong skills with team-oriented attitude in safety & integrity, quality & customer focus, ownership & performance, collaboration & trust.

  • Able to work under pressure and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication skills, fluent in English and able to communicate with different levels in organization.
