Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing, implementing and following-up Incoming Quality Control department strategy and goals, as well as action plans for their achievement;
  • Responsible for managing and supervising the Incoming Quality Control department in their day-to-day job;
  • Responsible for mentoring, conducting performance reviews, identifying development needs, creating training plans and delivering trainings to IQC team;
  • Accountability and ownership of Quality metrics. Communicates department objectives and KPIs., collects data, conducts various analysis and suggests improvements;
  • Be the main point of contact to Operations, Quality, Planning, Engineering, SCM and other departments for incoming inspection to ensure timely execution of needed activities for inspection planning and inspection results as required;
  • Develops and implements standard and non-standard sampling plans;
  • Responsible for good housekeeping and safety procedures in the inspection areas;
  • Long-term overall production quality improvement with focus on issue prevention rather than just control through implementation of LEAN Six Sigma methodology;

Your background:

  • Engineering degree (Bachelor, better Master)
  • More than 5 years working experience in quality, incoming inspection, production or similar role
  • Capable of own engineering judgement
  • Understanding functional organization
  • Very good presentation and communication skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is an advantage;
  • Should be eager to learn, flexible, open-minded, team-work oriented and pro-active.
