To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience in a sales environment or strong customer service experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem solving skills
  • An interest in earthmoving parts, components, products, equipment and services
  • A developed mechanical understanding of the Construction and Mining field would be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills e.g. Internet-based applications, MS office and outlook
  • A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety
  • Passion and a positive attitude to deliver the best outcome for our customers
  • Ability to navigate any issues in supply and demand whilst identifying continuous improvement and upselling opportunities
  • A self-driven Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
  • High Risk Forklift License would also be beneficial.

The Role

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated customer focused individual to join the aftersales team.

The position will see you focus on the coordination and supply of quality products to our customer base whilst also liaising and building relationships with internal stakeholders to coordinate high level service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This role will have you sourcing parts, invoicing and managing customer queries as well as warranty support and stock coordination
