Summary of the position:

The Warranty Administrator will review and process Sullair warranty claims submitted to Sullair.   Review warranty data for repeat failures and assist product improvements to reduce warranty costs.

This position is located at the Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC facility in Michigan City, Indiana.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for determining warranty eligibility based on warranty claim submitted from the field based on:
    • component failures
    • warranty coverage allowed
    • established flat rate guidelines
    • established labor rate
    • allowed mileage and travel time
    • process claims in a timely manner
    • review claims for excessive costs and push back where appropriate
  • Identify trends and major warranty issues and assist product/process improvements to reduce warranty costs and improving customer satisfaction
  • Work with Sullair suppliers to determine root cause of failure
  • All other duties as required to support superior customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates Degree a plus

Professional experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Sullair products
    • Service, Parts, Components, Fit, Form and Function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products

  • Familiar with JDE, Smart Equip, & Microsoft Dynamics CRM
