Description

As a Business Intelligence Expert at Hitachi energy, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of data to enhance our internal operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, develop BI solutions, and deliver insights that enable our organization to achieve its goals efficiently. Your expertise will help us make data-driven decisions and continually improve our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Analyze internal data sources to extract meaningful insights, trends, and patterns.

BI Solution Development: Design and develop custom BI solutions that meet internal reporting and analysis needs.

Dashboard Creation: Create interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as [mention specific BI tools] to facilitate decision-making.

Data Visualization: Apply best practices in data visualization to present information clearly and effectively.

Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into a unified data repository for analysis.

Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business)

  • Proven experience as a BI Analyst or similar role with an emphasis on internal BI solutions

  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Microsoft PowerBI

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation

  • Data modeling and ETL knowledge

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently

  • Certifications in BI or related fields (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
