About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to join our Oceania Depot as Manager of our Parts Distribution Centre located in Forrestdale, Perth. In this senior position, you will be positively enabling and providing strong leadership to a team supporting our national dealer network.

This role will suit a strong customer focussed leader who has a relentless commitment to delivering on Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction. Planning and prioritising multiple work fronts efficiently and effectively, this influential role will have you navigating complex logistical issues to deliver timely, quality and preventative outcomes in relation to the supply of genuine OEM and locally sourced parts.

About You - the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Leadership Experience - Governs oneself and the warehouse team with unwavering integrity. Values employee inclusion, coaching and mentorship of a positive cross-functional team focus.
  • Relevant Experience - Management of a large warehouse or logistics operations a distinct advantage. Experience in warehousing of bulky and unconventional parts would be highly regarded.
  • Strong Computer Literacy - Microsoft Dynamics experience or similar CRM to manage significant inventory holdings along with sharp commercial business acumen and efficiency.
  • Personable and Professional Communication Skills - above all else, your personality and charismatic character will be what sets you apart from the rest when dealing with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer success stories.
