About the Role:

As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of our company's payroll and Kronos systems. This newly created role is a direct result of our continued growth. Based at our modern Parramatta office, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the payroll manager. Join our supportive and friendly team and take on the following key responsibilities:

  • Process HCA payrolls accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring employees receive their payments promptly.
  • Ensure consistency and correct data input from all HCA sites, adhering to legal obligations and payroll rules.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer and site payroll inquiries, promptly providing accurate responses.
  • Assist with month-end reporting, ad hoc reporting, and salary and bonus reviews as required by the finance department.
  • Identify opportunities for payroll improvements and recommend practical and robust solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with your team and customers, embodying a collaborative and supportive approach.

About You: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software (Word, Excel).
  • Proven experience in payroll processing in a multi-site environment.
  • Familiarity with ADP Spectrum Plus payroll system (preferential).
  • Familiarity with Kronos time and attendance system (preferential).
  • Trained in Payroll Processing (essential).
  • Experience with time and attendance systems (preferential).
  • Trustworthiness, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously while also being a strong team player.
