Description

HITACHI RAIL is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of administrative and strategic tasks. The position is based in Noida.

Principle Responsibilities/Duties:

  • To quickly establish positive & productive working relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels.
  • To complete hands-on installation and support work for electro-mechanical equipment, according to Perpetuum’s procedures and with safety as your highest priority.
  • To produce high quality engineering documentation and present both technical and project information in a professional manor (both verbally and in writing).
  • To manage and support each rail project with dedication and professionalism throughout its entire life cycle. This will involve coordinating a multitude of activities, tasks and personnel to ensure timely delivery to the customer.
  • To provide sales & business support on India opportunities, including customer interactions, vehicle surveys and bid support. 
  • To travel on a regular basis independently throughout India for on-site work and customer meetings, and to the Perpetuum head office in the UK when required for training and team meetings.
  • To communicate effectively with Indian customers and suppliers and internationally with the Perpetuum UK team.
  • To undertake other duties not included above, as business demands require, but which will be consistent with the role outlined.
