The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Mining Assembly team based in Forrestdale. In this role, you will build on your existing mechanical skills, responsible for providing general workshop assistance to our skilled trades people. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Other responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the service technicians in the Mining Assembly workshop
  • Checking and storage of components and consumables delivered to the assembly facility
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final quality assurance inspections
  • Working in a safe and tidy manner - safety takes priority over everything else

About You

  • Have mechanical experience and/or aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Highly desirable to have additional licenses such as Forklift Licence rigging/dogging, working at heights.
