Your responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, from conducting in-depth structural analyses to validating designs through testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Structural Analysis: Conduct structural analyses using hand calculations and finite element simulations for various load cases, including lifting, seismic events, short circuits, shocks, and fatigue, among others.
Experimental Testing: Perform experimental tests to validate finite element models by comparing them with real-world experimental results.
Noise Diagnostic Testing: Lead experimental testing campaigns to diagnose structure-borne and air-borne noise generated by electrical equipment.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all structural designs adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations, guaranteeing the highest level of safety and performance.
Detailed Reporting: Prepare comprehensive structural reports that will be delivered to our valued customers, providing them with critical insights into the design and performance of our products.
Design Support: Collaborate closely with design engineers to enhance the structural components of transformers and reactors, contributing to their optimal functionality.
Customer Engagement: Support other departments in preparing for technical meetings and design reviews with our esteemed customers, showcasing your expertise and insights.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Possess a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.
Industry Experience: Have at least 1 year of work experience in the transformer industry, showcasing your familiarity with the intricacies of this specialized field.
Manufacturing Knowledge: Exhibit a solid understanding of transformer manufacturing processes, assembly procedures, and best practices, vital for ensuring quality.
Analytical Skills: Be proficient in using numerical and analytical calculation software like ANSYS, nCode, Fluent, and MATLAB to carry out precise analyses.
CAD Proficiency: Have experience with CAD software such as CREO and Inventor, enabling you to interact with design models effectively.
Regulatory Expertise: Possess knowledge of relevant building codes (Eurocode) and regulations, ensuring that designs meet all necessary compliance standards.
Noise and Vibration: Demonstrate experience in noise and vibration measurements, as well as the ability to process relevant data effectively.
Team Collaboration: Be adept at working both independently and as an integral part of a collaborative team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
