The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Service team based in Dandenong. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespeople with their day to day tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our team and work on some of Australia's leading Earthmoving equipment.

To be successful in the role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in a trades assistant or similar role
  • Previous hand and power tooling experience highly regarded
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures

Key responsibilities include:

  • Material handling and setting up of equipment
  • Assist in coordination of the work schedule and preparing jobs
  • Ensure reports and paperwork are completed in a timely manner
  • General housekeeping and cleaning
  • Conduct your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures
  • Maintaining rental fleet alongside qualified trades person.
