Description
Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
Goods receipting in SAP for all the materials delivered into the warehouse.
Stock keeping – keeping track of all stock in the warehouse and alignment of systems with the physical warehouse
Outbound deliveries processing – perform all the required operations to insure the correct outbound process is followed
Stocktaking and cycle counting – perform counts and periodical checks of stock
Data entry and material movement control
Stores housekeeping
High Risk Equipment – loading/unloading of trucks with mechanised equipment
Organising servicing of plant
Management of material handling processes
Other Logistic jobs
Continuous Improvement - Contribute to the development of the culture of continuous improvement including:
Assisting with the culture of the BSC initiatives
Using the bright ideas scheme to put forward ideas
Occupational Health and Safety - Contribute to a safe work environment including:
Ensuring all activities undertaken comply with applicable OH&S laws
Ensuring all activities comply with Company OH&S policies and procedures
Ensuring all safety incidents are reported and followed up using Company OH&S procedures.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
Logistic qualification and/or thorough understanding of the rail industry civil & electrical materials and warehousing processes.
Microsoft office
SAP
High Risk Ticket (forklift or equivalent)
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with a high volume pick/pack environment
Minimum 2 years SAP warehousing module expertise desirable
Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong operational and time management skills
Mandatory working program 07:00 – 15:30
