General information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Customer Quality Manager for its Mount Pleasant, PA location. This role is responsible for developing and implementing of quality metrics, policies and procedures that ensure customer quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve customer satisfaction levels via VOC, data analysis and CAPA.
  • Monitor quality system trends using process control methodologies, improvement actions and ensure proper root cause analysis and countermeasures.
  • Provide leadership for employees through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Drive change through corrective action and problem-solving methodologies to improve overall processes in High Voltage North America.
  • Prepare quality documents and reports to support customer root cause analysis investigations and internal continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve customer quality related concerns.
  • Provides support of Quality or other functions as needed.

Your background:

  • Bachelor or master's in engineering or technical degree and a minimum of 5 years of working experience in quality, production, project management or similar function.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Leadership, presentation, project management, coaching, influencing, and verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and drive change Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement methods, approaches, and tools.
  • Experience with formal problem-solving processes, focused on root cause analysis (8D or similar).
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience required. Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
