Hitachi Energy is seeking an account manager role to be part of the Ontario industry sales team, reporting to the Industrial Sales Manager – Eastern Region, Canada. The location for this role is idea within Northern Ontario. The role provides an exciting opportunity to develop sales strategies focused on share of wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Generates leads, opportunities from existing and potential new customers within the region, including cold callings to build pipeline
Ensures achievement of annual sales targets from C&I segment, includes transportation, renewable, data centre, mining and metal
Builds strong relationship with named accounts at all levels of the organization, while develops relationship with new customer accounts
Develops sales plans, strategies, selling and business development initiatives for named accounts and new customers
Promptly follow up on customers' needs and recommend solution that best meets the customers' requirements
Remains knowledgeable of our digital solutions as well as industry dynamics and news to facilitate sales efforts, includes but not limited to products of EMS, SCADA, APM, EPM
Ensures data accuracy in the sales force database for managing sales pipeline and monthly order forecasting
Coordinates with business units to ensure the value-based solution provided for customers
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries, escalate as appropriate for timely response.
Participates conferences, trade shows and customer engagement events
Bachelor’s degree is required in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Management or related disciplines.
Technical sales background in a related industry (energy) experience
6+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in sales growth
Both Account Management and Business Development Management experience (preferred)
This individual is persuasive and rapidly commands credibility and respect. S/he possesses excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written) ' and is well-versed in representing the company to senior executives; business partners and C-suite executives etc.
S/he is an action-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks.
