The Opportunity

With strong growth in our WA region, our Perth branch has an exciting opportunity for a quality focused Boilermaker to join the team on a on a 7/7 roster.

The role will see you perform boiler making, welding and fabrication tasks on a wide range of construction and mining equipment. You will also be responsible for:

• Providing fabrication and repair tasks to a variety of construction, earthmoving and equipment
• Design and fabrication of local options for earthmoving equipment
• Be able to interpret technical drawings
• Perform diagnostic evaluation of components and relevant systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Gouging structural cracks and re-welding
• Carrying out repair/fabrication tasks on large mining excavator components/structures.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
• Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Engineering Fabrication (Boiler making) trade qualifications
• Have previous experience working with construction, agricultural or mining equipment (Hitachi experience advantageous)
• Be confined space trained and qualified
• High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) are essential
