Description

Your responsibilities.

  • You will support and understand Project requirements BRS/SRL. Review requirements for test feasibility.
  • You will review functional design document for requirements mapping and coverage.
  • You will help in developing test plans working closely with INPOC test teams to share and explain functional requirements and design test plans to ensure software functionality is meeting the requirements.
  • You will be creating test cases responsible to create test cases that cover all aspects of the software, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing (if required).
  • You will be conducting tests where you will be responsible to execute test cases, record test results, and report any issues or bugs found during testing.
  • You will work to develop and maintain test automation scripts, reducing the time and effort required for testing and increasing testing efficiency.
  • You should collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found during testing.
  • You should document all test cases, test results, and issues found during testing, creating comprehensive reports that can be shared with stakeholders.
  • You will work to continuously evaluate the testing process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that would improve the efficiency of testing.
  • You will provide support to production tickets by interacting between customer and HE team and help track tickets until closure and contribute to RCA and implementation of countermeasures.

Your background

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Good functional knowledge in Electrical domain and understanding of Power systems/Electricity balancing market.
  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance, including knowledge of different types of testing such as manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and knowledge of various testing methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, etc. to apply appropriate testing techniques for the project.
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries (joins, aggregation, conversion between and functions for date/number/character)
  • Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
