Sr Financial Planning Analyst
Location: Hyderabad

What you'll be doing

Job Overview:
The EMEA & Global Platinum Financial Planning Analyst provides accounting and finance support to the EMEA & Global Platinum Senior Finance Manager. The analyst provides essential business partnerships with Country Finance Managers, Controllership Function and Shared Services Centre. The role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze & present information in a professional & articulate manner.
Job Responsibilities with % of Time Spent (All):

Forecasting & Reporting 50-60%
• Prepare financial and management reports
• Involved in monthly close cycle to monitor and report the financial results to ensure that accounting transaction are accurately recorded in accordance with US GAAP
• Perform financial consolidation where required
• Responsible for meeting reporting requirements from Corporate/EMEA Finance (monthly forecasting package and quarterly analytics)
• Prepare ad-hoc presentations for Leadership
• Drive standardized reporting across EMEA

Business Partnering 20-30%
• Business Partner with designated functional teams within GEO or Region/Country in financial management of planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, control, and operations
• Provide advisory support to designated Business Partner in forecasting and managing spend. Ensuring that executive actions are taken to manage the functional spend in accordance with AOP targets
• Business Partner support to the designated functional teams including financial reporting and analysis

Accounting Functions 20-30%
• Provides General Accounts controls and analysis

Others 10-20%
• Handling and supporting internal audits and external auditors where applicable
• Support EMEA FP&A team in other ad hoc requests

• Country Controllers, Country Accounting and Finance Managers
• Global Shared Service Centre
• GEO Sales Ops organization
• EMEA and Corporate Finance Staff
• Counterparts across the three GEOs
• External audit partner and fiscal authorities

Primary Qualifications
• Degree qualified Graduate with 3-5 years' experience
• Accounting/Finance qualification preferred
• Experience in multinational and relevant sector preferred
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP (where relevant), revenue recognition and SOX
• Computer literate, good analytical skills with business sense
• Fluent English preferred
• High level of integrity and ethics
• Capable of dealing with management in country and various locations
• Influencing skills at all levels of the business
• Excellent communication - written & verbal
• Excellent business Acumen and judgment and demonstrated ability to work closely and build sustainable business partnerships with Sales & other global functions
• Confident dealing with matrix management structure
• Highly motivational and can work under pressure and tight deadline
