Description:

The client has requested GlobalLogic to build a Data portal that Enables Data Discovery, Data Domains, Metadata Management, Workflows, Enterprise Glossary Management, Data Access Management, Operational Dashboards (like DQ, Data Usage) etc.

Enterprise Data Portal is expected to be strategic leading-edge unified data ecosystem that provides framework, processes, tools and services, enabling consistent and frictionless access to trusted data across on-premise, cloud, other SaaS and external partners. It maximizes the value of our data and provides flexible self-service and advanced capabilities to support a wide range of use cases including enterprise, research and analytical needs.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of AWS technologies
• Experience of infrastructure design and automation on AWS
• Strong shell scripting and Python scripting experience
• Professional experience working with following AWS Services is a MUST:

1. AWS Lake Formation
2. AWS Glue
3. EMR, EMR (Serverless), EC2
4. AWS S3
5. AWS Athena
6. Lambda
7. DMS
8. QuickSight
9. IAM
10. SQS/SNS
11. Step Functions
12. RDS - Postgres, MySQL, Aurora
13. Dynamo DB
14. Neptune
15. MWAA

• Database administration experience
• Experience in Virtual Machines configuration
• Experience with configuration and infrastructure management tools
• Experience with version control systems (Git or other)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Understanding Agile development methodologies e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, code analysis etc.
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes preferred) is a plus
• Practical experience with CI/CD concept
• English - Upper-Intermediate
• Excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for DevOps, CICD, Installation, Deployment and Automated Testing of product components
• Maintaining test and development environments
• Work on Cloud application development frameworks
• Evaluate new technologies
• Work with the application development teams
