Join us as Senior/Lead UX Market Researcher and work with us on one of market leading online platform. This online platform serves as a comprehensive resource for travelers, offering a wide range of services to assist individuals and businesses in planning and booking various aspects of their trips. This platform aims to streamline the travel planning and booking process, offering a one-stop-shop for all aspects of a trip. It provides travelers with the tools and information they need to make informed decisions and create memorable travel experiences.

Requirements:

4+ years of related professional experience in user experience market research with a suitable advanced degree (e.g. Masters or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, or other related field preferred.), OR 5+ years of work experience if no advanced degree.

Expert in a few of the following methodologies, competent in most:

- Usability studies (lab and remote)
- Biometrics
- Surveys
- Interviews
- Focus groups
- Heuristic evaluations
- Card sorting
- Experimental design.

Experienced in moderating fields research studies, analyzing data, reporting on research, and design research studies with minimal or no supervision.

Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of user centered design.

Familiar with advanced research methodologies.

Excellent English language skills.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct research to identify user needs and product market fit to help inform strategy and capabilities to be built:
o Refine research requests in collaboration with multiple stakeholders within highly-matrixed, cross-functional project teams
o Develop research plans using methods appropriate to addressing research questions
o Recruit participants representing target audience
o Conduct moderated or unmoderated research
o Analyze results
o Report findings and relevant insights to cross-functional project teams
o Archive results.
• Confidently conducts user or market research using the following methods:
o Usability studies
o Iterative design research
o In-depth interviews.
• Be familiar with many of the following user or market research methods:
o Low-to-medium complexity surveys
o Focus groups
o Diary Studies
o Participatory Design
o Contextual Inquiry
o Concept Study
o Kano
o Card Sorting (open & closed)
o Tree-testing
• Build relationships with stakeholders to better understand business needs and the context of problem areas and target users.
• Tailor communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate.
• Collaborate with experience and content designers within the human-centered design process to design exceptional experiences for the customers.
• Collaborate with experience designers and content designers to facilitate the gathering and synthesizing of diverse insights in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Apply and adapt design and research processes to fit needs of project.
