5-10 years related professional experience with a suitable advanced degree. 8+ years experience if no advanced degree.
Advanced and above English level and experience conducting workshops, remote mobile testing, interviews and dynamics with native and foreign english speakers.
Possesses a strong understanding of user centered design.
Demonstrates strength in 1-2 advanced research methodologies.
Experience in Research software tools.
Expert in many of the following methodologies, familiar with most:
Usability studies (lab and remote)
Two to three case studies (in english or with a side explanatory paragraph in english in case materials are in spanish) showcasing research processes from initial requirements and goals to deep exploration and consequent insights for implementation.
Experience in travel, tourism, hotel and flights booking, check in/outs will be a super plus!Job Responsibilities:
Moderates or fields research studies, analyzes data, reports on research, and design research studies independently.
Plans and executes user research, documents insights and findings, and suggests necessary product, design, strategy, and branding changes to improve the user experience.
Plans and manages user research programs in a functional area.
Mentors junior researchers on research techniques.
Communicates research results through storytelling and persuasion techniques that build trust with partners .
Guides others on the best practices and approaches for clear, concise and organized communication.
Tailors communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate.
Advocates for the work of the User Research org to stakeholders.
Facilitates collaboration with different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop effective solutions to customer needs and pain points.
Recommends improvements to the user experience by applying systems thinking across boundaries.
Works as the user and customer advocate in a team that is applying user-centered design methodologies to develop new products or enhance existing products based on customer needs and behaviors.
Identifies emerging customer and user needs to support the development of new products
