Act as a business partner to Local Service manager and Local Domestic Sales manager, HUB controllers and other relevant stakeholders. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions. Maintain constant contact with relevant managers and controllers regarding financial, market and customer situation and outlook.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Act as a Service Business Controller and as a Local Sales Controller (two local reporting units) and as a local management team member.

  • Ensures high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules. Also ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.

  • Communicates timely and efficiently with Local Management team as well as with HUB Controllers, GBS, and other internal stakeholders on financial performance, issues and actions to improve. Interprets financial results and measures in the context of business operations.

  • Participates actively in risk reviews. Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions and provides guidance to Sales team.

  • Develops and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.

  • Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serves as the interface to Local Business.

  • Monitors progress achieved and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identifies issues and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.

  • Identifies cost savings potentials, drives productivity optimization and capital efficiency. Manages and closely monitors the cash flow and takes actions to improve Net Working Capital.

  • Follows and implements internal controls standards. Ensures compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Finance (or similar)

  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience in business controlling, sales controlling and/or accounting function, in complex international organization

  • Profound SAP user and system expertise

  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to work proactively, independently and pragmatically.

  • Profound knowledge of finance and control processes, IFRS regulations. Profound SAP user and system expertise

  • Fluent in English, French
