Description

Your responsibilities

  • You will cooperate with engineering and other functions (in local units).
  • You will coordinate and implement sourcing strategy, Identify, analyze, evaluate, audit, and monitor suppliers, and drive and advance strategic supplier portfolio based on different commodities.
  • You will be Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process.
  • You will maintain Supplier Risk Management, Supplier Development, Supplier Auditing, and Contracting, and coordinate efforts for supplier/part qualification.
  • You will be bundling Price Negotiations / Supplier Selection /Managing and Monitoring Cost Saving Activities.
  • You will be Initiating and improving operational Excellence & Supplier Performance.
  • You will plan Initialize and Monitor Strategic Sourcing Activities for Project and serial Business (ETO/BTO), New Product Developments, Early Involvement of Key Suppliers, Design to Cost Aspects: And approve supplier decisions from LPGs.
  • You will secure Material availability in production and fulfill the guidelines of SOX, OHS, EHS, and Compliance.
  • You will maintain Cost reduction on external material, Extension of average payment terms, Supplier Consolidation, Usage of Preferred Suppliers, Supplier Performance SPE Result, and Cost Target in New Developments.
  • You will adapt to corporate contractual framework to the business needs, recommend frame agreements to management, and execute upon approval. Defines and establishes standard agreements (GTC, agreements for quality assurance and logistics) with all major suppliers, relevant to the category.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree and major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of Working Experience in Purchasing and Supply Management.
  • Additional working experience in the Electrical parts industry is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of the market and suppliers. Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and deliver the result.
  • Good teamwork, Able to combine strategic thinking with tactical daily work.
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems and skill in SAP is a Plus. 
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
