Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Fire Safety Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pistoia - IT

Accountabilities

• Ability on the use of the fire safety requirement management with DOORS;
• Management of Fire Safety documentation .
• Collaborate with the sub-project groups (internal and external) and ensure the development of the assigned project part;
• Be the referent for internal and / or external resources involved in fire safety design project team and will be responsible for coordinating the whole team.

Required Skills/ Knowledge

• Ability to perform the aforementioned tasks as described in section above
• Diploma in Technical Institute with a specialisation in Mechanics
• Availability for short domestic and overseas trips.

Desired Skills/ Knowledge

• Knowledge of EN45545 standard.
• Knowledge on TSI
• Analytic approach
• Team-working attitude
• Flexibility
• Result orientation
• Experience in railway vehicles projects.

Education / Qualifications
 

Diploma in Technical Institute with a specialisation in Mechanics

Languages

Knowledge of written and spoken English at least B2 level
