Profile: Electrical Design Engineer –Traction Transformer

Roles and Responsibility:

• The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Traction transformer design covering different countries.
• Responsible for development of transformer designs in coordination with global Hitachi ABB factory based on the purchase order requirement, ordering specification in different areas of transformer Electrical design
• Coordinating his design activities within a worldwide factories network.
• Influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions.
• Participation in internal design concept reviews.
• Design as per Market and Sales Strategy to meet the market needs.
• Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Staff with the Global Design Team:

You will be part of a Global Engineering Center team and your task is to contribute to the global design work with positive team atmosphere and networking.

Place of Work:            

Global Engineering Center Office, Vadodara/Savli, India

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience:

• A Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
• Around Maximum 4 years’ experience working in Electrical design for Traction or Distribution or Power Transformers.
• Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
• Understanding of Transformer Electrical Design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics.
• Experience in control & schematic would be given preference.
• Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
• Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
• Good communication skills in English Language in oral and written form.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
• Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
