In your role as a C/C++ Developer you will create software for measurement and communication devices in the task area Distribution Automation Solutions (Power Grids) as part of our international team (Poland and Germany). With these products we want to jointly drive the energy transition to make the world CO2 neutral, safe and more sustainable for future generations.

You will work on totally new product in our portfolio then debugging and troubleshooting mindset connected with very good communication skills and team player attitude is highly required.

Your responsibilities:

  • As an embedded C/C++ developer you will be a member of PG TC Distribution Automation team in Kraków, developing work packages based on well-known standards and protocols;
  • You will develop your skills in other areas of development, as well as in testing, release and integration;
  • You will cooperate with a dedicated and highly motivated team of embedded programmers and quality engineers in all phases of development using agile processes
  • Your working style is also characterized by a structured and result-oriented mindset
  • You work trustfully with system analysts and software architects

Your background:

  • BSc or MSc degree in IT, SW engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or similar area
  • Very good knowledge of the programming languages C/C++
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Experience with linux (especially with OpenWRT and yocto distributions)
  • Preferably knowledge in power engineering, automation technology, network technology or communication technology
  • You communicate fluently in English (Polish and German are nice to have)
