What You'll Be Doing

• Can work autonomously, deliver with minimal supervision from a set of requirements

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

• Has excellent communication skills to work as a member of a team

• Ability to function in an agile-based environment and provide good daily feedback on team stand-up call

• Participate in code release and production deployment, have an aggressive approach to fixing bugs and defects

• Good communication skills - verbal / written

What You Bring To The Team

• Minimum 8+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration experience in an enterprise environment

• Expert knowledge of the configuration, customization, & administration of ServiceNow platform, various modules of ServiceNow (i.e., Incident, Problem, Change, Event Management, SLM, Knowledge, Report/Performance Analytics, Service Catalogs, Content Management System/Service Portal, Domain Separation, Web Service Integration, new custom application development), as well as the domain of platform architecture, performance tuning, & application maintenance.

• Strong experience in areas of Discovery and Orchestration supporting CMDB/Asset management initiatives, hands-on experience with various data discovery sources (i.e., SCCM)

• Strong knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies (Java Scripting, XML, HTML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, PERL scripting, etc.), PowerShell

• Strong knowledge of system design and development used within Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, REST, WSDL, JAXWS)

• System Properties - UI, CSS, System, Email, Approval, LDAP, Application, Localization, Security, Users, and Groups

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and with web browser technology (XML, HTML, Web Services, etc.)

• Solid understanding of encoded queries, reporting, database views, SQL, stored procedures

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is:
$100k-$135k + Bonus+ Benefits

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
