We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with background in electrical engineering with expertise in power electronics to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of sustainable transport by developing innovative solutions in the e-mobility hydrogen, and rail sectors, for power supply infrastructure projects. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging with customers globally, and contributing to the continuous growth of our organization.

Your responsibilities
Develop creative technical solutions, actively support Sales and Tendering team for tendering and business development. primarily for e-mobility projects
Design & Engineering support for tendering and / or project execution in eMobility and other sectors e.g., Hydrogen or Rail depending on workloads
Ensure compliance of offered technical solutions and products with Customer’s requirements. - Collaborate effectively within a diverse team, including Local Operating Units and extended engineering team based in India
Working closely with Supply Chain experts for procurement of required materials, equipment’s & Services and Project planning for providing valuable inputs for project planning
Interact with R&D team, Product Specialists for eMobility product interfaces, applications thereof based on project requirements
Engage with customers worldwide, providing technical expertise on our solutions and products applications, and relay valuable feedback to Product Specialists and R&D for continuous improvement
Occasionally travel globally to visit customers, representing the company and strengthening client relationships, with travel constituting up to 10% of the work
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in power electronics and power conversion
3-5 years of working experience as a Project, System engineer or any similar position
Good understanding of AC-DC & DC-DC power conversion, low voltage AC, DC and medium voltage Electrical distribution systems, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing such systems
Experience in preparing comprehensive studies such as Sizing calculations, Design optimization, Reliability & Availability, Opex and Capex calculation
Familiarity with power system studies enabling the conceptualization of solutions, experience in relevant tools preferred, e.g. RAM, load flow and short circuit studies
Excellent communication skills in English to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and clients. Fluency in German and/or French, will be preferred
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to visit customers, project sites and attend relevant industry events
Experience in communication protocols relevant to power distribution systems
