  • Use of electrical measuring and testing equipment.
  • Use of technical documentation (Avis Qualité, Avis Technique, DO, verification sheets, drawings, C-18, etc.).
  • Apply organizational methods and methodologies (business management manual, procurement, health and safety, organizational procedures, general workshop processes).
  • Apply job methods and methodologies (prioritize and plan work, e.g. Day 1 follow-up, distances to be checked, follow-up to ensure proper vacuum, committee lead).
  • Use internal systems: product identification, tag, RNC, Poka, etc.
  • Solve complex problems requiring in-depth fact-finding and analysis.
  • Pass on knowledge and experience to less experienced staff.
  • Participate in the development of methods, instructions and tests.
  • Act as technical leader.

Your background

  • College diploma (electronics, instrumentation and controls, electrodynamics, electrical engineering or other electricity-related college diploma)
  • 12 to 24 months experience
  • Knowledge of blueprint/plans reading and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Behavioral skills: teamwork, self-control, impact and influence, communication, firmness.
  • Knowledge of metric and international systems.
  • Environment: working at heights, confined spaces, working with high-voltage equipment (over 600 volts), working with oil, heat, cold, driving vehicles: trucks, aerial work platforms, etc.
  • Fluency in English (an asset)
  • Knowledge of welding (an asset)
