Manufacturing Test Engineer

General Information:

This role would be a test engineer that would closely with R&D and manage Operation and Manufacturing Test Stations in a sustaining method.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with R&D for conception of development tests for wireless product.
• Implementation of test stations (hardware AND software) at Contract Manufacturers where products are built.
• Meet with product design team to discuss testing parameters and specifications.
• Write up test plans for products.
• Setting up test environments.
• Comprehensively documenting test results.
• Evaluate and analyze test results (especially during NPI runs)
• Identify root cause of malfunctions and provide solutions to manufacturing test environment.
• Sustain and support all test stations at various CM locations.
• Use revision control to manage and update/change source code. Will be responsible for maintaining and editing test station software in production.
• Manage test equipment material list and asset tracking.

Your Background:

• 5-7 years of test engineering experience.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Background in computer science/computer engineering.
• BS in Computer Engineering preferred.
• MS a plus.
