To strengthen our engineering and testing team, we are looking for a System Testing Team Manager to work in the Substation Automation System Test Field in Porto, Portugal. Open-minded, customer oriented & innovative are key factors for success in our working environment. Your responsibilities

  • Leading a team and develop them further.

  • Ensure HSE in the Test Field, prepare and maintain HSE concepts and train people in Test Field.

  • Plan and maintain Test Field area and equipment.

  • Support Test Engineers for System Testing.

  • Optimize Test Field infrastructure, process, and tools.

  • Close collaboration with other departments such as Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing and Logistics.

Your background

  • In addition to your degree in power engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent education you have experience in Control and Protection, SCADA or process automation systems.

  • Well-founded professional experience in dealing with electrical safety controls as well as in the construction and testing or commissioning of electrical systems and devices.

  • Experience as team lead or functional lead with readiness to take over role as team lead.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.

  • A high level of self-motivation. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

  • Current driving license valid in Portugal and work permit in Europe.

  • Willingness to travel nationally working on customer sites.
