Description

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our team in Transformer Business Unit Lodz. The business unit manufactures transformers’ components for Dry and Traction Transformers and is an internal supplier for other transformer businesses in Europe and US.

As Quality manager you will lead our entire factory quality function and be a part of the factory management team. Put your management skills to use in shaping the future of our quality function thereby making a crucial contribution to the entire operations!

Your responsibilities: 

  • Lead the quality function and secure excellence in internal processes and organizational capability in the quality function. The quality function contains a test room operation, quality assurance and quality development, some of them with own sub management.
  • Developing quality policy by implementing projects related to the improvement and optimization of quality systems, including defining indicators for excellent quality standards and ensuring their implementation.
  • Building and implementing a quality strategy within strategy deployment for whole factory.
  • Preparing and executing internal end external audits
  • Managing the team in terms of achieving goals, developing the team, setting the priorities
  • Close cooperation with other departments in the field of quality products.

Your background:

  • Master degree in quality, management, engineering or similar and have work experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Fluency in English and Polish is required.
  • Previous management experience is required with ability to motivate people to develop themselves and achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of tools for conducting quality analysis (PDCA, A3, Ishikawa, 5S, 5 why etc.) is required.
  • Experience from Quality field, Continuous Improvement, Lean 6 Sigma or similar is advantageous.
  • Experience in conducting audits and knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001, TS22163, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required as well as having independent, cooperative and communicative style of work.
