Quality Technician

Description

This position will be responsible for dissolved gas analysis testing of oil samples within the facility, data analysis, and creation of DGA test reports. Additionally, this position will compile information into appropriate customer test report format. Additional responsibilities of this position include providing training, support, and direction to test operators, internal assembly operators, and repair operators in diagnosing and analyzing test failures and/or utilizing test equipment; providing engineering, quality, and manufacturing with technical information to ensure the quality, performance, and safety of the product; and providing input and statistical data to support improvement in test equipment. Additional assignments as required for this position may include incoming electrical inspections, use of lab equipment, and communications within the technical organization. Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills are required. Use of Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, and Teams) is required. This position requires a minimum of a 2-year degree in electrical/electronic technology and/or industrial electrical testing.
