Finance Master Data CoE Team Lead

The Finance Master Data CoE is the core of our Finance Master Data organization, responsible for processing changes to finance master data objects, in line with our governance, as well as educating and advising the finance community on finance master data objects.   The team develops standards and processes, to support the company strategies, initiatives and business operations. The role requires engagement with Global Functions, BUs, and Hitachi HQ organization, to understand requirements, priorities and initiatives.

We are currently building the team and focusing on global initiatives like implementation of a global S/4Hana system and MDG (Project Reiwa) . The Finance Master Data CoE is located in Bangalore.

Education: Bachelors in Commerce/Accounts.

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Key responsibilities

• Drive formulating Finance Master Data Governance model in alignment with global Functions and other stakeholders
• Building and leading a team of Finance master data specialists
• Coordinate and support the development of the SAP MDG and Data Migration processes for our global S/4Hana implementation
• Act as main speaking partner towards our Headquarters related to Finance Master Data
• Evaluate run-organization requirements
• Take initiative to drive process improvements
• Ensure adherence to Internal controls
• Being responsible for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP´s)
• Support the Global Functions, BUs and main initiatives with Master Data competence and capacity covered by MD CoE
• Educating and advising the user community on Finance MD principles and tools as well as the application thereof

• Result-oriented team player with strong attention to detail, good organizational and project management skills
• Strong ambition to set up, own and run an organization supporting Hitachi Energy globally
• Experience in Master Data management
• A global orientation with networking skills
• Experience from stakeholder management, with good communication skills in English are a prerequisite. The position requires analytical capabilities, motivation for delivering on-time and ability to work under pressure
• Good work discipline to produce results despite complexity
• Basic understanding of finance/accounting
